Laboatories of the WiB
At the WiB we have different, well equipped laboratories for different fields of researches, investigation and examination methods.
TheConcrete and Mortar Laboratory can be used to manufacture different specimens, new mixture recipes and processes. Furthermore different kinds of investigations on fresh concrete can be conducted.
The standardized normative defined strength investigations on hardened concrete are conducted in the Meso and Makro Laboratory
Further material parameters can be determined in the Laboratory for Building Physics .
In our Micro Laboratory chemical and physical analysis are done to characterize the materials on micro to nano scale.
With the equipment in our Chemical Laboratory we are able to perform a variety of investigations in the areas of durability examinations, raw material analysis as well as sample preparations.
For verification, evaluation and the creation of new models, we have the Materials Simulation Lab available for all areas.
