Professor Gonzalo Barluenga, coordinator of the BEST group from the University of Alcalá (Spain), carried out a secondment at the Technical University of Darmstadt from 29th of June to 28th of July 2024. His visit was hosted by Prof. Dr.ir. Eddie Koenders, head of the Institute of Construction and Building Materials at TU Darmstadt and coordinator of the BEST project. During his visit, he presented and discussed with students and scientists various topics and initiatives related to the development of bio-based materials and potential applications in Architecture. These networking activities will provide a basis for collaboration between TUDa and UAH during future secondments of staff and PhD students within the BEST project.
